DOT Testing & 19-A Exams
Federally certified examiners for CDL medical cards and NYS Article 19-A driver exams. Walk out with a completed card accepted by the NYS DMV.
Drivers of commercial motor vehicles must be medically certified by a licensed medical examiner. In most cases examinations are valid for 24 months; certain conditions may restrict a driver to a limited certificate. In those cases we monitor and work with you to expand certification when appropriate — while ensuring the highest level of driver and public safety.
Holders of CDL licenses must be examined by a federally certified DOT examiner. We are registered with the federal government — FMCSA National Registry No. 8561917716 — and hold certification to perform these examinations. Federally approved forms and cards are available in our office.
The cost of the examination is $125. Once your examination is finished, you leave with a completed medical card that is accepted at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
19-A medical exams
New York State enacted Article 19-A to promote public safety: companies and individuals engaged in the transportation of passengers must ensure drivers pass a periodic medical examination. Our certified examiners have decades of collective experience performing 19-A examinations. NYS-approved forms are available in our office.
The cost of the examination is $125.
If your business requires you to be on the road, let Occupational Medicine Associates of NNY handle the burden of ensuring your employees are medically fit for driving.
